SWIM-STD-02 — ISRM Rulebook

In order to achieve interoperable information services, the work on the logical service models during the service identification and service design should be governed. This governance is defined in the ISRM rulebook. It will also contain the list of Service Description Documents (SDDs) which are required for SESAR Deployment. For each designed service in the ISRM a Service Description Document (SDD) is created. The role of the SDD is to present the logical design of the service in an easy readable format. It will also contain a list of Technical Service Contracts (TSC). A TSC is a set of one or more published documents that express meta information about a service instance respective to the physical implementation of a service. A service is related to a service contract which fundamental parts are the SDD and the TSC, but it can further reference human readable documents, such as Service Level Agreements (SLA) that describe additional quality-of-service features, behaviors and limitations.
