Solution U1C-06 — Communication, navigation and surveillance capability

The capability enables the drones to meet the communication, navigation and surveillance performance requirements for the specific environment in which they will operate. This capability involves the combination of on-board sensors and equipment (e.g. data link, voice radio relay, transponder, laser, GNSS, cellular etc.) as means of achieving the required performance.

The reference for this definition is the "European ATM Master Plan: Roadmap for the safe integration of drones into all classes of airspace". On-going Research activities on U-space may update this definition in future datasets.
