PJ.18-02a will define, in coordination with other solution projects, procedures needed to establish and manage a synchronised view of the trajectory during execution phase - that is the Reference Business Trajectory (RBT). The new procedures will describe operational scenarios where each stakeholder is expected / allowed to review / update the RBT, and when relevant, any potential collaborative decision-making process.
A dedicated subsection will look at Air / Ground exchanges and will propose new or improved working methods and operational procedures especially for the new roles in the Trajectory Based Operations including the use of the existing enablers (e.g. datalink / CPDLC) and standards (e.g. ATM Baseline 1 and 2, FANS) and demonstrate benefits.
