The systems provides the controller with warnings if aircraft deviate from a clearance or plan, and reminders of instructions to be issued.

Rationale: The objective of this automation is to assist the controller in maintaining situational awareness and relieving him from some routine tasks. Conformance monitoring is also essential for triggering trajectory re-calculation for the detection of potential conflicts.
