POI-0017-IS — SWIM technical infrastructure for Air-Ground advisory information sharing (Purple Profile)

Enable a secure integration of the aircraft into the SWIM network. It aims at providing SWIM-enabled aircraft with the capability to consume ground-provided advisory SWIM services (e.g. uplink of meteorological and aeronautical information). The aim is also at enabling the aircraft to provide advisory SWIM services (e.g. downlink of aircraft derived weather observations) consumed by SWIM enabled ground systems.
The POI covers only the SWIM technical infrastructure layer of the Air/Ground SWIM: application and network layers are covered by other POIs.
