POI-0022-COM — ATM High Performance Terrestrial Data Link
The implementation of LDACS will provide A/G Datalink capabilities supporting ATC and AOC as well as voice services over continental airspace, based on ATN/IPS networks, either in stand-alone or Multilink environments. The implementation of LDACS will provide high capacity datalink capabilities meeting ATS-B2 (and beyond, B3) performance requirements (latency, availability, continuity and integrity) and secure communication.

- There is a need to improve datalink performance in terms of troughput, latency, availability, continuity and integrity with the introduction of a new Datalink in L-band.
