Will enable responsive, secure and cost-effective SWIM-TI level exchanges between civil and military SWIM-Enabled Applications when YP 1.0 is not sufficient from a military point of view due to specific expectations.
Targets future extensions to the ECTRL Yellow Profile 1.0 specification to fill the estimated QoS gap, so to extend the civil-military coordination and cooperation scope compared to YP 1.0. Typical exchanges requiring such extensions include:
¿ Consumption of civil flight data,
¿ Quick Reaction Alert (alert and tracks),
¿ OAT Flight Plan Submission & Flight Data Distribution (sensitive data case).
Key QoS needs derived from above exchanges encompass (cyber) security, resilience, performance and the support of sensitive data.
Wave 1 focuses on SWIM-based civil-military interoperability on the full scope of operational needs in the context of YP-based interactions (the solution does not target real-time / safety-critical interactions in Wave 1 but challenges the ability to support some time-constraint SWIM services).
