A/C-57c — Mobile Device for FIS/TIS data display

The Mobile Device is a smartphone or a tablet computer available on the commercial market and taken on-board of GA aircraft. It is equipped with a GPS receiver and an installed App, which is capable to display maps and integrated FIS/TIS information on the screen of the mobile device. The information will be downloaded to the mobile¿s App during flight by making use of a mobile cellular network based on LTE for GA altitudes.
