Weather Awareness is improved through Enhanced Automated MET capabilities that will significantly enhance current possibilities of automated weather observation. This is achieved by improving the monitoring of current weather situation while special attention will be given to heterogeneous weather conditions with heightened aviation impact at remote aerodrome whereas data needed will be gathered from both standard and advanced observing techniques.
