Aircraft Derived Data as defined by ED102A/DO260B which provides both the aircraft computed position (coming from ADS B) and its tactical intent (e.g. selected heading and selected altitude coming from Mode S EHS), is used to improve the safety net performance, e.g. to detect that the separation mode has been compromised and to provide/propose resolution action. Safety Nets are to include the detection of aircraft penetrations of segregated airspace. The safety nets must remain robust against information error or missing information.
