AO-0801-A — Collaborative Airport Planning Interface
Maintenance of the evolving content of the Airport Operations Plan (AOP) including:
(1) an initial identification of elements that are common between the Airport Operation Plan (AOP) and Network Operations Plan (NOP) and
(2) means to allow the exchange of information between AOP and NOP.
- Rationale
- Full integration of Airports into the ATM Network planning function, taking into considerations all the operations impacting the airport airside processes, will allow for accurate time-based operations reducing in-air and on-ground holding. Within the ATM Network an NOP / AOP relationship will be established, where a Set / Sub-set of the NOP (identified as key ATM elements) is shared with AOP. This first step (covered by SESAR1) is to provide an initial identification of elements to be exchanged between AOP and NOP to deliver performance benefits as well as communication means to exchange such information.
