Space Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS, i.e. EGNOS, WAAS) are civil aviation safety-critical systems that support wide-area or regional augmentation though a monitoring and reference stations network and geostationary (GEO) satellites which broadcast GNSS augmentation information (correction & integrity).
